Dizziness and less pain

Mar 22, 2015 10:35 PM

I really think the duloxetine that I've been on less than two weeks is really starting to help with my pain. It seems like the general intensity is less. :) but I really want to drop the gabapentin! I don't feel like it helps. Although it might. I still have constant headache but the flare ups aren't as frequent. These drugs both make me so dizzy though! I have to stay in bed at night after I take it which is difficult when I have little children. Husband does most of the night care. But I am still awake and he is sleeping so I tried taking care of the two year olds comfort needs. I ran into the wall three times and finally fell into my bed and had to wake him up to do the care.

Oh Aliya, I'm so sorry you had a rough night. I know how the dizziness feels! I kept having to put my arms out to catch myself from veering into walls & doorjambs yesterday. I don't really think my gabapentin is doing anything but making me sleepy. I sure hope your body adjusts to your duloxetine and your dizziness goes away. Praying so! 🙏🌼

I'm really grateful that I have a helpful husband. I couldn't do this without him.

Glad to hear that you are getting some pain relief. I pray that as you build a blood level, your pain levels decrease more and the dizziness goes away.
