Doctors and Funeral Today

Jul 13, 2015 6:52 AM

Well, I have to get my act together and take an early shower to be at the doctor's office for my physical. As I had told everyone, I'm having trouble with my blood pressure being high. Also my lower legs and feet have been swollen. I'm nervous (even though I have a normal heart rate and normal breathing, etc.) I hate going to the doctor it ramps up my anxiety and only makes things worse. Then I have to get home, have a break and then head to the funeral parlor. I'm praying that God gives me the strength to be strong for my friend and be helpful. Tomorrow will be a lot harder because I have to be up really early, take my Mom 40 miles away to the dentist, I'll get home just in time to shower and get dressed to get to the funeral parlor and then there will be a two hour break and back to the funeral parlor. Going to be hard. I don't know how I can take my meds and be ok to function and drive without falling asleep when I get tired from being out for so long. It's making me very nervous. Then Wednesday morning up very early to shower, get to the funeral parlor and follow the procession to the cemetery. No wonder my nerves are jangled. Pray I can do this. I feel VERY nauseous today and feel like I could throw up any secon. I'll have to keep mints with me or something. Hope you all have a blessed and light pain day. πŸ’•πŸ™πŸ»πŸŒ»

AlwayZ, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Let go of the worrying about getting through it all, and let God carry you through... He will! Try eating some crackers or toast and some ginger ale, or a banana, all good for nausea. Stop, close your eyes and breathe deeply and slowly anytime you feel your nerves trying to get hold. Drink some green tea with your meds and hopefully it will keep you from getting sleepy. Anytime you feel on edge of about to collapse, excuse yourself and go somewhere for 5-15 minutes to recoup youngest. (((Hugs))) & prayers for you! πŸ™πŸŒΌ

Thanks, Flappsy!! I'm
Going to do exactly what you suggested. If I'm feeling off, I'll excuse myself and regroup. Tomorrow is going to be more hectic so I'm more worried about that.. I will put it in God's hands and let him guide my way. It will all work out. It's the anticipation that always gets to me. I'm at the doctor which always makes me nervous and my hands are already shaking. Wish me luck!! Love to allπŸ’•
