Doctors can figure it out

Mar 11, 2017 4:05 PM

I have been through a battery of tests, everyhting they can throw at me. I have had injections all over. (back, coccyx, glutial) I can't get rid of this pain. Doctor at the pain clinic basically told me "we are out of our bag of tricks, and i don't see anything that would warrant prescribing anything else for pain."

So here I am, in pain, can't work. I had to file disability and I have no meds or temp relief.

A quick history. back in 2014 i was struck by a car when i ws walking my bicycle. smacked me hard on my left hip, hit my head. since then I have been dealing with the pain, the limitation to my mobility (walking and sitting) as well as bladder control loss)

Gosh that's horrible; I'm so sorry to hear this. I'm giving you a great big protective hug and good vibes and energy to try and combat this.
I understand the battery of tests it really sucks being a test subject. Been there done that. You may simply have nerve damage due to the accident and that can turn into fibro or chronic pain syndrome. And they don't really have accurate tests for that.
I'm so sorry you have had to endure all this. Please keep your chin up. Try distracting your self ( works for me sometimes) breathing techniques, some say yoga helps ( haven't tried it yet) maybe even look into " natural options"

I've tried yoga. I can barely do basic movements for light work. I try to be active and so pelvic Area stretches

Keep trying even if you have to do them sitting down. I do Tia Chi as much as I can much as I can but I sit down when I have to. Sometimes I do my own research and suggest things to the docs.

Deivoron, can you tell me more in detail where the pain is when you sit, not just lower back but pin point it and what it feels like. I have a rare desease that causes pain in the tailbone area. Things like bladde control, , private area bee stings, burning, and "nimbness" in a variety of places going down the legs to the toes.
