Just to let you know that I do find your handle a bit offensive, in the respect that I as Christian and I DO pray to GOD.....NOT YOU, BUT MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!

Prayer, listening to soothing music (Christian, oldies, or jazz/blues) and deep breathing relaxation to destress. I have found my stress level aggravates my pain levels, and I've learned to remove myself as much as possible from stressful people, places, or events.

Yes. I do. Fibro and lower back pain are two of my most troublesome conditions.

sounds similar to myself, I keep a wide spread pressing pain plus low back, the low back has for fact been identified as disc issues L4/L5/S1 and an old T9/T10 compression fracture, self fused. it's all a collection of problems added together. had several Falls over last seven years, add kidney cancer and the chronic pain. I am limited severely to my daily abilities and if I'm blessed with a decent day and I over extend myself at all i suffer the following day or more. my local pain doctor had very little interest in anything but himself so I am seeking help once again. got in with different doctor but they can't see me till March so I am feeling miserable and helpless

I had surgery last fall for a herniated disc L5S1. Still in a lot of pain, and cold weather not helping. We have a cold front passing through tonight and I can't sit. Pain meds don't help much besides making me more foggy that I already am.

Thanks everybody's input!!!!! I am sorry some of you have it worse then me!!!! Bubba...I am so very sorry to hear of all your issues...I will say a special prayer for you!!!!!!!!!

My lower back pain has gone away once again! It does this all the time.....major flare and a few days down then I just wake up one day with no back pain. I am hoping maybe the bulging disc is just in a certain area where it just depends on certain positions I lay or something. At least I get see this new doc next week!

It is so stupid to have to wait 2-3 months to get in to see a stinking doc! Best to everybody!!!!!!!!

For what it is worth I have Fibro and degenerate disk disease in my lower back and neck. I to take lots of meds with very little relief. What I have found that work for me and maybe you have a place to do this it is that I have taken up Tia Chi which I do in a warm therapy pool at my local health club. Being in the pool and the relaxing movements of the Tia Chi is amazing it's not a long lasting solution but at least for that 30-40 minutes it gives my mind and body a break and a chance to reset to bear the pain of another day.

I have both plus horrible SI joint pain. I've had numerous injections and the last one only gave me some relief for 3 weeks. Next treatment is burning off the nerve endings. Heating pad is my best friend.

Hi guys I'm new here. Reading some of your posts made me realize my symptoms are not a creation of my mind and that I'm not going nuts.. LOL. I've been going to the gym 3 times a week, taking accumpuncture sessions, Visiting a Jhorei center, taking litotherapy sessions, listening to nature sounds.. Yes I know, so many things, sometimes I hate that I have to spend money and time on all these to feel better and have a decent life quality, I wonder why I have to go through all these. I also try not to think much about the pain and just keep going hoping I'll be set free of medication and pain One day. Good luck to us all.
