I am waiting for one to. But i am considering putting it off because of the mixed results. Fears being, migration, scarring(further pain) and breakdown. Gx

So what solutions are you using instead. I heard through a friend SCS was helpful and changed their life but now I am fearful of risks

Hi pugger. Please dont be put off because of my fears. Your pain management team will have the facts and stats. Speak to them. You could ask them to introduce you to past patients?

Ive had 5 spinal ops which have caused their own probs. I am not withdrawing from it just thinking of putting off.

I manage with an holistic approach, excercise, diet, relaxation and some meds etc. Its never going to be easy even with an implant. Its not a cure and only changes pain signals to brain.

I have met two people with this and they were very positive. However i have met 1 who had probs.

Get as much info as you possibly can so you can be sure. Every op has its risks. Good luck G x

🤗 Look at the facts and make an informed decision.

Hi groggers... 🤗 lovely to see u. I too am thinking of putting mine off after a close friends family member😰 had a tear in her epidural sack and spent 3 wks in intensive care.... so i guess its just a choice. 🐫When it works its great... but it often migrates and battery pack needs swapping out every 5 years which is more surgery. 🐴I would buy a tens machine and practice knocking the pain out that way b4 making a decision Puggers 🤗

Try not to go the opioid route as long as possible... 🤔im on fentanyl... after spinal surgeries.. fusion in lumbar and twice at cervical levels... 😊do some googling ... read facts and learn and u will find ur path... wish u luck bud 😚
