My doc and rhuemy told me to do light exercises and now that I had lower back problems, I am supposed to do these stretching exercises. I cannot afford a inversion table...so I thought and looked up online how to use these balls to stretch my lower back out and it would help my pain??????? Anybody ever use one to help with lower back or any kind of pain????????????

Like a giant inflatable ball? I have! I like it a lot. Look up stretches of exercises to do with it on YouTube, it's great. I had one that had little nubs on it that massaged and I liked that too. I have also used a foam roller on tight/sore muscles and ligaments and it helps break up myofascia a lot.

I have one and they're brilliant. I was advised by the pain management clinic to get on.

My PT has one. I like it too. Very gentle and effective.

Thank you all so much for your responses!!!!! I had bought a 55cm...but since I am also using it as my computer chair....I went with a 75 cm. Works for the stretches too just fine! I did look up on YouTube.com lots out there! I will ask my sine doc when I see him for the first time I see him! Thanks again
