Sep 15, 2015 11:38 AM

I have tried in the past several holistic meds fir pain relif they can be very costly. Currently there are new ones on the market saying they relive Fybro? As many of you know and may have experienced you get tired of the hope and the costs only to be back at square one. Looking for answers, and shared experiences feeling lost and hopeless.

What do you mean by holistic? I take a lot of alternative medications, which have been worth the money. Many are just supplements, or things like DMSO.

I have heard hemp oil helps. I'm going to try it. I have Fibromyalgia.

I will look up the names one that comes to mind which I haven't tried is called Krampton? I've heard good and bad about it so it doesn't help to make the descsion to try it if that makes sense.

Oh, Kratom? I'd say with Kratom, it depends. I've used it as a painkiller for tooth pain, wouldn't have been in school without it. It can have side effects, though.
I don't take it anymore, and find that a combo of kava kava root and Magnolia bark extract does amazing things, including stopping hallucinations from pain. Kratom seemed more like Cosiendo to me, a painkiller that made pain bearable, which is different than something like DMSO, which actually reversed my illness.
I guess it just depends.

Could you explain some of the things you've said thank you for reply ferret. What does Cosiendo, and DMSO mean? I'm so new to all this. Thank you for your response!

Cosiendo was a typo, sorry about that. I meant Codeine, the only prescription painkiller I've had outside of the ER. DMSO is the acronym for dimethylsulfoxide, a industrial solvent (like water) commonly used to treat in injuries/arthritis in horses. It helped me walk, so I can talk a lot about it.
