I can be so tired all day even while up doing random stuff. Take meds and get suoer drowzy only to suddenly become wide awake. It's so frustrating I know I need my sleep so I can continue to heal. Which is why I'm very thankful for the Ambien I've got from the Dr.seems to be the only thing that puts me out no matter how bad the pain is.
It's a constant battle but some days I will sleep through, those days are gifts. Try chamomile tea, or a routine maybe if you are not already trying this already? I will take my meds and get everything ready for the next day, set my alarms for the next day whilst I have my tea and then go to bed, I put my phone on do not disturb and don't look at it at all whilst I am in bed. Or YouTube guided sleep meditations, they take some focusing but mindfulness helps 😊
