Embarrassment at the Airport

Jan 01, 2017 7:47 PM

I went to Perth airport with my hubby as we are flying home from the Christmas break. My hubby went through the security scanner. Then I went through and the alarms went off. I stopped in my tracks. I have a metal minnie from a broken pelvis. It doesn't always set off the alarms being titanium but today it did. I looked at the security guard and he looked closer at the scan and rushed me through. I don't know who was more embarrassed him, or me. Can you imagine his surprise hahaha 😂😂

Lol. Poor guard. I have a Neuro stim implant- even have a medical card to present at airports etc. Strange thing is it never sets those alarms off. Now Wal-Mart though is a different story. Those alarms live me.

My neurostim is broken but when I walk through certain security areas going into stores, I get a really bad shock that starts where the battery is and travels up my back to my neck: it's a fast/hard jolt. I usually make sure nobody is in front or behind so I can get through quickly and not prolong the situation

Alwayz - I haven't had mine turned on in almost a year. It quit helping. I don't get that jolt you are talking about but for the last several months I get episodes that feels like a tens unit on high .. It is usually on the left neck/shoulder area and travels down that arm. I am thinking it might be related to the NeuroStim but not sure since my Stim isn't even on.
