I was diagnosed with endo when I was 27. It took close to 5 years and a lot of doctors telling me pain was in my head. I know how painful this condition is. If your boyfriend is a keeper he will respect you and your body by not making you feel guilty about sex. Life will get better even if it doesn't seem like it. I am now 44 and had laparoscopic surgery at 27 to remove the endometriosis and fibroids. Lost my right side ovary and tube at the time. 2 months later back with avengance and back to surgery for a complete hysterectomy. Educate yourself on this condition so You get the right care. You are so young it would be a shame if you lost your reproductive organs. Estrogen feeds endometriosis. Progesterone starves it. At least that was the consensus 15+ years ago.

I was 25 when I was diagnosed with endometriosis. I had an emergency hysterectomy when I was 26. The pain was so unbearable. And I too was told it was all in my head. I agree, you should educate yourself on the condo and Weigh the pros and cons of treatment.
