Endometriosis and Adenomyosis

May 24, 2014 7:49 PM

I have have tested positive for endometriosis and suspected adenomyosis will be confirmed through MRI on Tuesday. My life has been altered from chronic pain and because I have no definitive reason for my pain I feel and appear dramatic. I am learning day by day how t to lessen the impact on my family, but I would like to hear how others accept and manage chronic pain when surrounded by family and friends that will (hopefully) never understand what it does to your mind and body. How do you appear to be relaxed when suffering? I know it can be done, but I don't know how to do it myself.

when you feel like no understands you, reach out to the fibro community. You are not crazy or dramatic! I personally am still struggling with similar social-stuff. the best advice I can think of is; don't doubt what/how you feel. But for your loved ones, never give up. ~ Much Love

Hello sdone123, how did your MRI go last Tuesday? What are you doing so far to lessen the impact on your family, but also, what are you doing for yourself to manage your pain? You ask how others accept and manage their chronic pain. Have you already tried some methods that did not work out for you?
