Endometriosis and intercystial cutistis

Oct 26, 2014 11:10 AM

sorry if I spelled that wrong. I was diagnosed a year ago with endometriosis but suffering for 3. while I have heavy periods and strong cramps, the most severe symptom I have is a burning sensation with urination that lasts hours and comes back throughout the day sometimes. it's debilitating and makes me not want to move sometimes. other times it's so annoying I feel like it's going to drive me crazy. does anyone else have this? what do you do to manage pain. doctors have been less than helpful. I'm prescribed 800mg Motrin but that doesn't seem to help...

My OB/GYN gave my Percocet 7.5/325. I only use it for really, really bad pain because I don't like the side effects (bad headache the day after). That helped with the pain. And I had a NovaSure Ablation done last year which helped with the bleeding. Talk to your doctor and find out if you're a candidate!

I have IC I can't spell the correct way to say it. A lot of the pain comes from what u eat. Acid in ur food makes u have the pain like u have a bladder infection. U can check out a website icnetwork.com. If u have an iphone they have an app that can help, it cost about a dollar or two. Also supported by the ic network. just put ic network in the search and hopefully it will pop up. not sure were u live but there might be a support group close to u that could help. Hope this info helps up. Good luck

I have endo but no IC. Haven't found anything outside of dilaudid that helps with the pain, mostly I just curl up and try not to move.
