I feel your pain. I too have trouble getting to sleep sometimes due to pain. I have a adhesions from multiple surgeries and find it difficult to find a comfortable position to sleep in that doesn't cause me pain.

melatonin supplements have been helping a little, not with pain, of course, but to calm me and help lull me off...just recently diagnosed. they say the pain should come for some time prior to, and during menses, but it seems to be a constant dull ache with episodes of stabbing pain at differing levels of severity. anyone else going through this as well?

I often have insomnia issues too because of my endo. If the pain is bad, sometimes it keeps me up all night. I have my first appointment with a pain clinic on Oct 10th. I'm praying they help me.

Endo pain is pretty wicked. Basically scar tissue has formed inside your body. The pain is from the scar tissue stretching, breaking or tearing. The only way i was able to overcome it was through surgery. Try a heating pad... that may help ease your pain some. Also, try not to take any aspirin related pain relievers as they thin the blood and can cause more intense bleeding.

Since 2012, I have had 5 surgeries for my endometriosis. I probably would have had more if I had not been pregnant for 9 months of that time. There is no cure for this horrible disease.
