So I went to the hospital Monday night due to pain and was discharged around 3 am. The on call doc gave me a referral to pain management and gave me a ketamine infusion. I don’t remember anything after that but my mom said he was too scared to touch me
Update ~ I’m struggling so much right now. Pain is still at 8 1/2 - 9 my flare is worse on my left side but my right leg is effected pretty bad too. Tonight my mom gave me another oxycodone so that my normal pills and that hopefully make me get through the night then she can call the hospital in the morning. My grandpa was hospitalized the past few days but will be flying in tomorrow and leaving Friday my sister will also be flying in on thanksgiving and leaving Sunday so I’m really frustrated that I’m in a flare. Mom bought me some lidocaine patches as well to also hopefully get my pain levels lowered. My pain hasn’t changed much from the Er Monday night. I cried most of the last couple nights because of how much pain I was in. I’m still in a lot right now. I just want to get better. Sorry for all my venting recently just really frustrated. All my friends are hanging out and I’m stuck in bed unable to move really.

Sorry to hear your in so much pain Talia. Hopefully your oxycodone brings your level of pain down enough so you can bear it better. I hope it can be decreased enough that you are able to enjoy somewhat of your holiday with your family. I’ve had my problems since I was 12 years old. Back then any pain was considered to be called “ growing pains”. Lol. I never stopped outgrowing them. I’m now 65 years old and still am having that pain only now more severe. I hope that you can get some help. Zetarlov’s idea about you blogging is a good one. You could be a warrior for other kids your age that are also silently suffering. Think about it. Take care and I send my best to all the pain warriors out their and wish you all as happy a thanksgiving as is possible for each of you.🦃🎃
