If I only had a way to not put any kind pressure on my right hip, it might ease up the pain.

I can only sleepp on thier in one position, how I envy people who can sleep on their sides or stomach! I take really hot showers and if you have water head that massages that will really help. Good luck

I can only sleep on my right side, if I'm on my left even with a pillow between my legs (recovering from kneecap fracture), it hurts so bad. For 2 months I had to sleep on my back, never had before as it's not comfortable at all, but somehow I did, think out of pure exhaustion.
I have a sleep number bed, I can adjust the softness/firmness which helps...again, sometimes.
Hope you find relief to sleep anyway you want:-) I know it's so difficult

I have sciatica and really bad scoliosis so it's pretty much impossible to be in a position that doesn't hurt. I'm in a wheelchair so can't stand but other suffers says that helps. I find laying on a heat pack or a heat pillow the most helpful also floating in water is good

I have severe back issues and hip issues too. My low back and right hip would often awake me because of agonizing pain. I know use a specially shaped memory foam pillow between my knees as I am a side sleeper and that helps with both the back and hip pain. The pillow is shaped something like an hour glass. It cost me about $40 and was available at a pharmacy that specialized in selling aids like canes, braces, crutches, etc.

I sleep like Dracula too. it's so hard to get comfy and that position is naturally good for you but so not comfy! I hate it. I feel for you. just don't cough too hard and break a rib....I did that and could hardly get outta bed at all! it makes any sit-up kind of movement impossible. I feel for you!

I understand all of your plights and I'm sorry for you all... I have several chronic conditions that cause me to have a pain level of an 8 ON 100mg Morphine. I have such widespread pain that I have not slept in a bed in about 7 years. Because of the pressure of laying down, the pain is horrendous so I sleep in a recliner. I rarely make it to the restorative REM Cycle of sleep, therefore, I'm always tired. I can't work because I never know what the day will bring and can't guarantee I can be somewhere at a specific time or for specified hours. it's very draining on the body and spirit. I hope you all find some relief

I sleeps on my back with a heating pads because of my lower back pain. My legs radiate very bad in any other position. I use a pillow to elevate my legs which usually helps with the nerve pain, but then pressure is put kon my back. Every once in a while I can sleep on my left side, which I prefer because of the back issues. I may have to purchase that special pillow.
