Hi, I'd love to exercise, but I have had lower back pain for years. Unfortunately, I can't exercise, or stand still for more than a few seconds as the pain is too much. I have a new shoulder replacement and arthritis in my hips and shoulders and fibromyalgia everywhere. I find a heat pad on my back helps. Don't know if anyone can recommend what exercise I could do?
Brookie, I was exercising 30-60 min about 3-5 days a week, and actually felt much better all over. I was doing very gentle & slower aerobics with "Rise Up with Jennifer" show on NRB station (don't ask what that is, I don't know).
Then in late June, early July last year I suddenly had sharp chest pain and shortness of breath. I immediately stopped thinking I'd just overdone it. The next day it happened again, and the next... I'm no longer exercising because even walking through the grocery store causes the same symptoms.
Since December the sob has greatly increased, yet none of the docs can find out why. I'm frustrated because now I literally feel like pooh in the pasture, being trampled all day long! I have no energy, easily tired (more than just fibromyalgia tired) and easily sob.
Hello, I have lower back pain and upper back pain after my spine surgery 2 and a half years ago. I can't say i have found something that 100% decreases my pain but Pilates helped strengthen my core which helped my lower back slightly. just some stretches daily maybe! & You can even try a heat pack & make sure you know how much your body can take, it is ok to take little rests here and there. Everyone is different but I hope you find something that helps you x
