Exercise Partner

Aug 06, 2016 12:00 PM

I bought myself an exercise partner, an 11 month old Landseer Newfoundlander. He's gorgeous, calm, well-mannered & doesn't snore. My son, who has autism, also likes him. I paid a small fortune for him, but he's worth it. I just got him a couple of days ago.

Great..sis u use a foundation or did u use a breeder? I'm interested in getting a service or therapy dog.

I got him from a breeder that is going out of business. I usually prefer rescues, but larger breeds are really hard to come by. I've been looking for nearly three years. What are you needing a service dog for, if you don't mind me asking? The best luck we've had (for my son) is Newfs, St. Bernard & an Akbash/Maremma cross.

I need one for my balance and feeling security in public. I have had a few falling and fainting spells. I had a smaller breed a few years ago. But may want a medium breed now.. I'm not 100% sure. Although my neighbor has a German Shepherd that I feel could be great for me too.

Hsmommy1 what a wonderful breed of dog you picked. I love the landseer Newfies!! They're gorgeous, gentle, loyal and huge dogs. They love to be cuddled and usually think they're lap dogs even when they get to be 130 pounds.. LOL!! I have a bullmastiff that is 145 pounds and all she wants to do is be in your lap. She climbs on my Mom and you can't see her body any more.. LOL!!! You enjoy that big baby and post some pictures. {{{Hugs}}}💕🙏🏻🌻😊

I don't know how to post pics. Can some one instruct me?

Hsmommy1 if you have the pain companion then you go to a post and click on the little paper clip and either take a pic or pick one out from your camera roll and it will post. 💕🙏🏻🌻😊
