Do any other fibro people out there get sooo tired and flat out exhausted that they could cry? I get to a point that I literally an fighting back tears. I am recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia and I can't make people understand that there are days that even the idea of picking up a piece of paper makes me want to scream. Thank God I have a good boss but I'm dealing with the "you don't look sick" from so many co-workers and friends. Sorry this is a random, mini, compressed rant lol just need to know I'm not alone.

I have fibro and AS. I am exhausted everyday. I spent weekends sleeping all day in order to try and catch up so that I can go back to work on Monday. When I get off at 2pm daily, I come home and sleep too.

I call that "hitting my brick wall." where it feels like you can't possibly take one more step... Do one more thing...

Vent away. So sorry you are going through this.

Hi @fibrofiance, you are not alone! I often find that the higher my stress levels the more tired I become, which also effects my Fibro fog (concentration is at a min level) and i literally feel burnt out.

It is also hard not to get frustrated with yourself because you know what you used to be capable of and you often think "normal people could do this so why is this so hard for me"

Learning to be patient with yourself, really listening to what your body is telling you and taking time for yourself is of the utmost importance. Hope you feel better soon🌸

Fibrofiance, I started doing this in 2014. Fibro was dx in 2012, though it started in 2007. Sjogrens & hypothyroidism were dx in 2015. After starting the plaquenil the constant fatigue became random fatigue (with flares or cold) and constant tiredness (but functional). Does that make sense?
