Exhausted

I got some short term illness, it just keeps getting worse.
I'm a bit concerned because my sis had it for a week, and her body's much stronger than mine.
I have a sore throat, bunches of phlegm and am expecting to throw up soon.
My body feels like it spent the whole night hiking, and I got up at 2 am.
I'm worried I'll be way behind in the few classes I still take.

Ferretbandit, take it easy and do a little in between rest periods if you can. I drink ginger ale when I'm nauseated, and eat saltine crackers. Sometimes I eat bananas or white rice when I'm not so sick. I hope you feel better soon! 🙏🌼

I've had a bunch of throat coat tea, and feel like I spent three days hiking uphill.
I keep thinking about school, and I'm dreaming about it too.
Hoping to start eating soon, I'm supposed to have my braces tightened tomorrow, then had to the children's hospital on Thursday.
My spine seems to be bending forward, I think that I'll try ginger ale.

Ferretbandit, it is really true that ginger ale with help you with the nausea.. I have been using that for nausea since I was a kid (and I'm 50 years old now). Also, getting some kind of food into you is important... You can try some toast and/or saltine crackers. Don't put so much pressure on yourself with school.. Make sure that between periods you rest as much as possible and know that your body can only handle so much and if you then let the anxiety overwhelm you to the point you're having nightmares about school, you'll only end up worse off. Hang in there, you can do this. When you go Thursday to see the pain management people, you will see that they should be able to help you to feel better. Take care and know you are not alone and that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

BRAT diet for nausea or getting over stomach bug... Bread Rice Applesauce Toast. Bananas are great to curb diarrhea too.

So far I've had honey, tea, ginger, and water but that's it.
I'm super stiff, and one side of my stomach/hip looks way smaller than the other side.
I'm just hoping my chest clears up soon.
My ears are plugged, but I'm feeling less like fainting from sitting up.
I'm not excited about the appointment tomorrow, the drive is 2 hours.
I really like my school, but I have a theater performance in a week or two.

Vicks vapor rub for the chest (rub on) and it will help any head congestion. My grandmother covered our necks and chest and then pinned a handkerchief around our neck. Wed be over a cough and chest congestion quick. Another of grandmother's remedies, a heated honey + lemon + whiskey cough syrup...works to this day when nothing else will.
