Alwayz, the more I think about it, the more nervous I get. I was so gun ho in her office but now that I've had time to marinate on it, I'm not real sure about it. I've tried everything else available at this point and nothing has worked for me. It just seems like I just keep round and round in a circle.
I know. It Happens more often. Than not. I have pains management on Monday and I'm dreading it... All because I get something stuck in my craw and now being older, worried about driving to the Funeral Parlor. I will get through it because like Flappsy said, I've got to turn it all over to God and he will get us all through out situations. The very best to you always!!
Amanda, just would like to share my experience as I had one done not about 6 weeks ago now. After the surgery it was really painful for a week or so. I think it did fixed me, but now the pain is returning. I hope yours certainly lasts longer than mine. Just go in and accept whatever results. I was quite sad when the pain came back, I wish I was more prepared mentally.
I'm having some injections in my spine next week and praying that they will help me with the pains! I too am beyond sick of the pain in my back the most from all over ! I've heard lots saying they only help for a small amount of time! They say 90% of people it works for up to 6months yet I'd say about 90% of people I've spoken to that's had them say , it's hell for about a week then help for about 2/3 weeks then back to bad pain again!. X
Mrsflossy, Count me in the first & second group. I always get 3 injx, 1 month apart, for each level of my spine; c6-7, T1-2, T11-12, L1-2, L4-5, S1-3. After the third injx I have to wait 2-3 months for my pain doc to move to another address of my spine.
I hurt initially 2-4 days after each injx. After injx #1 I hurt about two weeks later but he makes me wait 4 weeks to get the 2nd injx. After injx #2 I get relief 4-6 weeks, then we move to injx #3. I have been one of the lucky ones because after doing two rounds of injx on each area, beginning in 2012 & ending in 2013, I have not had excruciating pain constantly since then.
I began having lumbosacral & cervical pain again in February, and although some days are really bad it still isn't as bad as when I first started injx. I'm in line to begin injx again, after I am seen at Mayo.
I'll be praying you and others will have better results than anticipated. 🙏🌼
