Favorite Books

Are there other avid readers here? Reading is my escape. I love finding new authors. Just recently I have started reading using the Kindle. There's nothing like the feel of a real book in your hands though..

For real books my go to is the library. For kindle I go to Bookbub. I can often find free books through them.

Recently I found netgalley - many authors will let you read their soon to be released books in exchange for you writing an honest review. You can also read new releases in exchange for a review.

Will read just about anything but love murder mysteries and fantasy type books. :)

What about you? Read anything good lately?

I love to read and don't do nearly enough lately. Usually I read in the winter when I hibernate.. LOL!!! I love Dean Koontz, Stephen King, John Saul, and my favorite has to be Patricia Cornwell.. She had written a series of 23 books with more coming and the lead character is Dr. Kay Scarpetta a medical examiner. All of the books of the series are page turners and amazingly good reads and I would recommended them for anyone who likes a suspense/thriller type book. On the other hand, I love reading Hans Holtzer who has written many books on the paranormal. Being an empath and a sensitive I am fascinated by his case studies.

I love Dr. Kay Scarpetta! Paranormal books are great too. JD Robb is a favorite. My mind just went black but the author who does the Carpathian series. Lol. Gonna have to look her up again. There really are too many favorites ....

I use to love reading. But now, if the pages don't grab me so I don't want to put the book down, I end up bored. I like mysteries, suspense, and sometimes historical romance or poetry. My sister have me a Kindle reader so I'm finding my way back to books. I hate boring books, and love series books. I just finished the first of 7 called Outlander.

I heard that was a good series...Outlander.

One of the reasons I love Bookbub is many of the books are free or .99

So if I start a book and find I just can't get into it I am not out of the money. Win-win
