Feeling stupid

Mar 07, 2016 8:11 PM

I turned on the old sauna to maximum to let it warm up so that I could go in it. Then totally forgot about it. Then I left several hours ago. I just got a call from my boyfriend asking if I had a sauna... which jogged my memory of turning it on. I'm an idiot. Thankfully nothing went wrong, but it has been sitting there on maximum unsupervised for 6 hours. I'm so dumb. I totally spaced because of a headache, which is the reason I was going to go in the first place. Stupid!

It happens sometimes! At least nothing happened. Couple of months ago I went to church and got out without turning the car off. Thankfully someone caught it.

The things that I have done that would probably point to me not operating with a full case....are numerous. Too numerous to name. You aren't alone.

I can't even count how many times I have taken supper out of the oven and left it on. Thankfully my other half has learned to look and make sure I have turned it off. LOL

You are far from stupid. When we don't feel good, those are the times that we space out. There have been times that I have been in tremendous pain. I would just lay in bed and stare and space out and a few hours would pass. That is how bad I felt. I would never do that if I had felt alright. So don't be so hard on yourself. Best wishes to you.

There are days when it's hard to brain! Take a deep breath, drink some water, and reset and move on.
