Felt like absolute crap all day

Jun 06, 2015 5:30 PM

Sorry guys for not being more helpful today but I have felt like a Mac truck ran over me this morning. Started out pretty descent Today but my left leg has been bothering me to no end(the one with stitches). I don't know if it supposed I'm still supposed to be dealing with pain now but it's manageable for now. No signs of infection(redness, temperature elevation, etc). Not going to call the emergency after-hours doc tonight but I will if it gets any worse. Haven't even gotten dressed today, that's how bad it's been.

Amanda, the part with the stitches that is bothering you, is it red, warm to the touch, do you have any fever or chills or is it just that the stitches are probably being rejected by your body and that's usually around the time that the stitches are ready to be taken out. I know in my experience, after having 28 surgical procedures, that when the stitches start driving me crazy means that I have healed sufficiently and they are ready to come out. I am hoping that you feel better really soon. I am sending gentle hugs and you are in my prayers.

Nope, no redness, Warmth to touch, fever, none of that. Just swollen still but I think they might just be too tight at this point and that's what's causing the discomfort now.

Amanda take care of yourself, you may have pushed that leg to far yesterday than you realize. It's easy to do when you are feeling better. Just pamper that leg tonight and the next couple of days. Hopefully it will feel better. Sending you love and hugs.

Thanks Weezie and yes, I believe I did too much because I just popped two stitches tonight. No big deal cause it's not open or bleeding.
