Fibro and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome

Jun 02, 2019 8:07 PM

Hi.

Just wondering if anyone else with either of the above conditions gets woken up with painful thighs/groin? I have lost 45 lbs since last August (more to go) , and am still getting this.

I take Diclofenac, amitriptyline, and paracetamol (acetaminophen) before I go to bed.

Looking for some clues as to what approach to take apart from more pain meds and Ibuprofen and levomenthal gel.

Thanks

Welcome Jes021975! I do have fibro but not the ED syndrome. My fibro does wake me up with leg pain, thigh to toes many nights. I also developed cramping & jerking in the legs (RLS). Unfortunately other than using muscle relaxers, stretching gently, and heat, I've not had much relief. However I began having groin pain in November and it was dx as a torn ligament/tendon issue, which I just had surgery in May to repair. I am 90% improved from that injury but have a 5 week or more recuperation to go. Hugs love & prayers you can find ways to relieve your pain to help you sleep better! πŸ™‚β€πŸ™πŸŒΌ
