I have kind of a random question...I have fibromyalgia and over the past few months the pain has been getting worse. Lately, I feel like I can't even walk. I feel like the bottoms of my feet are covered in bruises and can hardly stand up. It's just so painful.
I have pain at the bottom of my feet as well! My doctor says it is from my arthritis though, not fibro. I have psoriatic arthritis (without the psoriasis) which means my arthritis is in my ligaments and tissue rather than my bones of my joints -- so, my pain is in my joints AS WELL AS other places where ligaments are such as the bottom of my feet, etc.
Memory foam slippers help. I even wear them to the grocery store. I am looking for a pair that has foam that doesn't go flat quickly. Bar stools in the kitchen let me work at the counter while sitting rather than standing. Bed bath and beyond has mats with memory foam for the kitchen. I put them on the floor and stepped on them in socks to test them. One of them is $50.00 but as soon as anyone with this painful feet problem steps on it, I Am sure you will agree the price is worth it.
I get that too! I was walking barefoot around the house but now I'm finding I need some cushiony slippers to walk without cringing. That's exactly how I have described how my feet feel too...walking with bruises all over the bottom of my feet. Get yourself some cushy slippers and put your feet up :)
