I don't know if Fibromyalgia can directly cause heart palpitations. But, the amount of pain that it causes and the stress that results from it, may lead to anxiety which can cause heart palpitations. Also, a common effect of many medications is heart palpitations, so I would suggest looking into that.
I doubt that fibro is causing palpitations you might start by eliminating caffeine, chocolate, alcohol. If that does not help go see your doctor and ask for a Holter monitor. By chance do you take flexeril (muscle relaxer) it is known to cause palpitations. Feel free to PM me if you have anymore symptoms.
You have to have Pain Companion- it is the sister program of Catch My Pain. Just touch the persons (the blue highlighted name) and it takes you to the persons page that tells you a little about them. Just click on the send private message box and there you go. If you read the part about the person the box disappears just click return then the box comes back. I will try not to be gone for so long at a time.
I think you should see a doctor. Let the doctor decide if it's something to be concerned about and you need treatment for pain can elevate your blood pressure which could cause a stroke or heat attack... but I am suggesting you see your doctor.
