Don't we all just hate fibro fog?? I've been to see my Dr today, needing to discuss at least five different medications, some new and some to be increased. As what happens with fibro fog I came out having only dealt with one. I drove 28 miles home to realise that I had completely forgotten most of what I had when in for. So I've just phoned back to be told I will need to be seen again but can't get an appt for 2 weeks. So I guess it's gonna be a long couple of weeks ☹️
Can't they fit you in as an emergency patient? A lot of doctors surgery's have to leave soo many appointments for people to call in that day to get an emergency appointment. It's important that you speak to them even if it's a phone appointment.....remember to write it all down and have it with you. They can't leave you hanging like that for 2 weeks
It's my own fault, I know I should write things down. In my defence I had rushed from a cpn appt so was a little distracted too. I'm going to phone again tomorrow and see if I can get a telephone consultation. I'm registered at quite a small practice which is why I have to wait to be seen. Hopefully they will be able to do something. I'm finding the fog quite bad and I just seem to be in a little hazy bubble at the minute.
Cinders your doctors are meant to keep soo appointments a day for people to call in and be seen that day and talking about your meds to see what needs changing is important especially if they're not helping your pain and making you feel worse. It's one of the NHS' directives for GP's whether their small or large surgeries. I hope your able to sort it out soon x
