The last several days I've had excruciating pain in the bottom of my feet at night. It feels like hot pins being pushed up into my feet. The pain starts in my toes and works its way up until both legs are consumed.
I've tried all of my homeopathic and narcotic pain management strategies with no success. I can't sleep. Heck, I can't even get under the covers.
Anyone have luck controlling this monster? Any and all ideas are welcome.
Have you been tested for neuropathy? My dad has diabetes related Neuropathy but I know of others who live with Fibromyalgia who struggle with this.
If you haven't discussed this with your doctor it's probably something he needs to know. :(
(((( gentle hugs ))))
One thing I found early on is that it is so easy to blame the Fibromyalgia for every new symptom. While it's important to know of possible symptoms that you might have it's even more important to be taken seriously, for your doctors to understand that when something feels different it needs to be checked out before written off as "just Fibromyalgia, just live with it."
Hope tomorrow is a better day for you.
Do you have extra pillows? I know it helps my parents and even me to have extra pillows for sleeping. May need to put one under your knees or bnetween them or alongside your back etc. in order to find a comfortable position (((( hugs ))))
Hi fatigue fighter, I have a similar problem with my feet. The only thing that realy helps me is reflexology. In the beginning I went once a week for 6 weeks and then once every 2 weeks and now I go once every 6 weeks. The treatments really helped me. Give it a try, you never know what will help it you don't try. Good luck🤗
Burning hell feet... Neuropatic pain. It starts under my feet and spreads up to my hips. Both legs. Terror!!!!! Recently it started to spread to my belly, arms and right side of my face. It comes and goes. The only thing I find, that "helps", is to rub my feet in with ice gel for sore muscles. Every night is a nightmare, It feels like I have fire-ants in my feet, from the ancle to my toes. And when I get the neuropatic pain on top, my sleepless nights, becomes more than sleepless. I get this panic feeling and behave like an animal trapped in a cage... So my best tip for you, give ice gel a try. Big hug!! 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
