Fibro questions

Anyone with fibromyalgia have any issues with swollen lymphnodes? Also, has anyone tested positive for Epsteem Barr Virus (the virus that causes mono)? I ask bc I have a swollen lymphnode for almost a year now. (Currently seeing a specialist) I ask about Epsteem Barr bc I read over 70% of people diagnosed with fibro tested positive for the virus. My sister had Epsteem Barr which typically stays dormant but in her case infected her brain causing legions, short term memory loss and slew of other issues. The doctors explained to us this virus has only effected one other person in this way besides her that they know of. It took a huge effort for doctors to find out what was wrong with her, a seemingly heathy teenager that just started having sezuires out of the blue. The doctors at St. Jude were even baffeld. I'm curious at this discovery that so many people with fibro have Epsteem Barr as well. My mom has fibro as well and was bitten by my sister in the early days of her sickness. I was only 13 at the time. What do you all think? Anyone ever been tested?

Hopefulbluefeet, I have had both mono & shingles, at age 18, and chicken pox at age 5. My PCP said I would always test positive for the EBV because of these illnesses. I developed fibro symptoms in 2007, diagnosed in 2012. And in 2015 I was dx with dementia/memory loss. I am under many different specialists but none have mentioned a connection of EBV & fibro. But I've read about it in several places and curiously wondered if there is a connection. 🙂💕🙏🌼
