Fibro diagnosis is a process mainly of eliminating all other possibilities, usually at your expense. There are still many docs who don't believe in it, even worse, will promptly show you the door. Also, it's hard to get treatment for unrelated complaints when you say that you have it. Sorry for the bad news, just my experience after 20+ years with it. The medications are a trial and error thing. What works for one patient doesn't help another. Do a lot of reading and save your notes. Most of my successful meds I have received based on my own research. The medical community is vastly uniformed on the disease.
