I have suffered for years, but was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. The way i look at it is now you have a diagnosis so you are not just wondering what is wrong with you with no answers. That is a good thing. Now the key is to find what works best for you pain for pain pain management. You could go with medication or you could try the natural route. I use a mix of both because I can't afford most of the natural stuff and my insurance covers the medication I'm on fairly well. There's lots of options.

Hi thanks for the reply my gp puts me on so many meds at one point i was on about 42 then cut down then cold Turkey like i said. When i eat i can't hold food down anymore knee replacement but another doctor said don't. What the doctor's struggle with me is i also have other issues and mental health. I may have that but far from stupid i used to work 7 days a weeks 1 day off a month 16 hour shifts to forget about stuff. This was when i first became ill 10 years not working is very hard but the gp has said with all what ive done to my body it would probably kill me. Ive a 3 year old son also disabled artistic i go out once in a blur moon with the wife only in summer months as now its far to cold for me. I have asked for more help due to how i deal with pain and i keep everything shut away then out comes the monster.

Try cutting from you diet, gluten, white sugar, (I use raw), white taters, all bread products, no noodles, and last cook everything your self. No frozen or boxes, no microwave. I have chronic pain and just changed my diet this summer, I am so much better. My gut is the main benefactor but my everyday life has improved.

I’ve been suffering with chronic pain for nearly eight years and finally got a diagnosis of fibromyalgia a few months ago. I haven’t been able to work full time for about 3 years, and then last October I had to stop working completely. I’m on a bunch of meds and I wish I could come off of them but the pain is so bad when I try just cutting back, I couldn’t even imagine not taking it at all. I’m in the same boat as many others, where I wish I could try more natural alternatives but I can’t afford it right now. My husband is the only one working in the home and I’m just thankful for that and the fact that we have decent health insurance through his job. Prayers to all of you that are also suffering with chronic pain! People who have never dealt with this just have no idea how bad it get...:(

I’m starting counseling in about a week, so I’m hoping that will teach me some coping mechanisms to help deal with the pain.
