Fibromyalgia and dairy products

Jan 07, 2016 11:38 AM

Dear community,

Today I saw a patient with rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia in the clinic. Her had fibro had completely resolved recently after cutting out dairy products. I was astonished because there is no literature about this link and she's had it for years. So I wanted to share this anecdote. Dairy can be problematic for some people and increase allergies. But maybe that effect goes even further...

And maybe you give it a try?

Dr Fouradoulas, that's sort of ironic you posted this. Normally I drink 2% of less milk, preferably 1% or fast free. But over the weekend we bought whole milk for our granddaughter. I drank a glass last night and immediately developed bloating and gas. I had already begun to suspect issues with milk because I've cream does me the same way. I'm going to find alternatives and see if it helps. 😷🙏🌼
