Sep 27, 2015 3:48 AM

I don't really know what wrong... Can't really sleep the parts of me that don't hurt or numb and cold I've got sores on my sides that I have no idea where they came from but they hurt. I'm hungry but don't want to eat because I feel I'll be looked at funny. I've tried loosing weight during all this but still keep gaining... My doctors don't seem yo be concerned bout it as much as I am... This is just a hard night... I have no pain meds can't get to sleep

I get it. I have felt so bad today that want to cry. Tired but can't sleep. Want to eat but can't finish. I have an abscess that is killing me! Grrrr it seems like we can't have just one problem

Newfibrogirl2, are the sores like blisters? I had shingles at 18, followed by 6 weeks of mononucleosis. My dad has shingles 7 years ago and he still has numb or stinging sensations of and on.

As for eating, you must eat to keep up your strength. Try buying some protein bars, like Nutrigrain, or Fiber One. They will fill you up longer to help with the in between meals hunger. And if you're like me, stress causes you to eat, so first I drink 8 oz of water, then I try to get busy with something to get my mind off eating. My endocrinologist & rheumatologist told me to stop worrying about my weight gain because most of my meds will cause it, and with hypothyroidism it's a hard battle. They told me to change out cookies and cakes for fruit & low fat protein snack bars. It only took 2-3 weeks before eating something really sweet made me sick. They also said try to move more, like walking, light hand weights, stretches, stretch exercise bands, etc. (((Hugs))) for your stressed and inability to sleep. It's rough when insomnia hits! I'll say a prayer for you, and may the sandman visit soon! Try some Sleepytime Tea (warm w/ honey). It helps you relax and sleep better. And take a melatonin if you have it. 🙏🌼

Thanks flappys...yes stress is very present. Thanks for the tips on the bars. I do the p3 packs... Or some other protein source... Veggie sticks and Greek ranch. They do help. At the moment I've been taken off all my herbal teas and pain meds except tramadol due to my survey in a week. So life is rough right now...

If it doesn't clear up go let a doc look at it. Since you can't have the tea, try reading an interesting book or watch a movie with all the lights out and the volume low. I hope you'll get sleepy soon.
