CatchMyPain Community and Pain Diary App to manage chronic illness

Finding support.

Mar 14, 2018 4:51 PM

Hello everyone:

I'm new here. Came across this app while trying to find a decent pain journal app. (Any suggestions for that would be appreciated) I have many health issues, cervical disk disorder, spondilosis, fibromyalgia, and HS to name a few. I'm struggling day to day with managing things in life. I have an amazingly supportive husband and children to help me thankfully but have struggled to find a decent support group.

I'm glad I stumbled across this app. I have read through many of your posts and while it seems like the active group is small they are extreamly supportive. I'm hoping to hang around a d get to know some people who understand what it's like to live in a vessel of pain.

I use the pain journal on this app. It's not bad and fairly quick to status daily.

Did you ever tested for Chiari Malformation or Syringomyelia. Looking at you pain pattern it is first similar two patients with Syringomyelia!

My brother has sever Chiari with Syringomyelia. He had surgery at a research hospital in DC years ago and still struggles. I have low lying cerabelum tonsils at 5mm but the way it is positioned they do not believe it should be causing issues. I do question it often because my pain is so similar to my brothers.
