Finding things to be thankful for

Oct 06, 2016 11:22 AM

Work has been a real struggle for me lately. Everyone in my department is feeling like they are being shit on by upper management and because of a crappy economy they feel trapped.
Well one of the admin ladies just made my week. She had a really big harvest this year and after keeping what she wanted and donating over 300 pounds she brought in 2 large bins of cooking pumpkins for anyone that wanted at work. I know she just wants to get rid of the pumpkins but getting a pumpkin made my day.
So I'm thankful Bonnie had a plentifully harvest and that I got a pumpkin.

That's so cool Gotobef!!! I'm thankful for finding this forum and for the wonderful friends I have made here. I'm thankful for the ability to put a smile on someone's face when they're having a rough day.. I'm thankful for the sunshine, the birds chirping and just breathing the fresh cool air.. it's a pretty day!!!!

I'm very thankful for my new family here, without you all I would have gone crazy last year when going through all that I did, and for my husband and his love and support of and for my kids.

I am so thankful for my family, hubby especially, my high tolerance to pain in light of all my med allergies, my hubby's good job & our home, my good doctors, my strong faith, friends (old & new from this community). And I'm especially thankful that my dog and my grandpup are getting along so well, and the grandpup is somewhat trained... He minds and is smart too! ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ™๐ŸŒธ

Thankful for a beautiful day outside, a family who understands, effective pain control, and the fact that I'm still alive and thriving.

We are grateful for everything that we have. We were homeless two years ago. Now we have a home with a river in our backyard and have learned family is more important than possessions.
