Welcome dizzyrose, I'm in the UK as well.
There are many very supportive and knowledgeable people on here and because everyone is spread out all over the world you'll find people will respond at different times. Plus of course life gets in the way of responding quickly as well!! (happy to sat the dentist is happy with my kids and my oral hygiene today!)
If there's any questions, any celebrations or you just need a supportive ear just post it in the community and you'll have people answer......sooner or later depending on peoples timezones or their painsomnia!
What battle are you fighting? Myself I'm battling trigeminal neuralgia in the left side of my face and associated neck and shoulder and quite severe anxiety and depression xx

Hi there Sezzy! Mine is a new battle...I had laryngitis mid September, pushed through work with it for a week ,flopping as soon as I got in, and then it got worse and was ill for another week and a half. Off now with what doc says is post viral fatigue. She said it could be CFS but too early now and fibromyalgia was also mentioned. I'm exhausted, muscles feel overused, shooting pains, knee swelling, limbs feel 'in the wrong place', joints stiff, cracking and full of heavy sand and just washing and eating are hard. When I try and do anything it feels like someone's slit my feet and everything had run out of me. ( sorry I off loaded abit there)
Sorry to hear your conditions. Have just looked up Trigeminal Neuralgia and it sounds painful. Hope your not too bad today. X

Hi dizzyrose. Welcome to the community. I haven't been here long. I have fibromyalgia, diabetes, GERD, gastoperesis, and IBS. I feel exhausted and my body heavy and sore most of the time. What I am dealing with right now is trying to get my apartment clean before Christmas. Plus crocheting done.

Thanks so much for the welcome. AnimalLover2, good luck with the cleaning. I'm living in a lot of dust and muck at the moment and trying very hard to not see it! I felt like I had more energy a couple of weeks ago so did some jobs...I've now been exhausted ever since. Too much I think!!! I forgot the words 'pace yourself' that my doctor said.I read on here that someone does housework with a timer, 10/15 mins then rest. Think I might pinch that tip! MKnight thanks for the welcome.

Hi dizzyrose, sorry to hear that, that sounds hard, you should take it easy and when you're sitting or laying try to do sound gentle exercises just to stop yourself from going to stiff. Chronic fatigue syndrome is something that I've been kicking about for a while, it's a complete drain and my joints feel shot to hell but my GP won't consider it atm....I don't have enough trigger points!
I'm in a bad flair atm but that's part of the course with chronic pain.
No need to be sorry for offloading that's part of the course and you need to.
It could be a while before you get any proper diagnosis so just hold in there and keep your pain diary going. Both my GP and pain clinic specialist nurse loved the app.
