Flare up?

Aug 24, 2015 11:10 AM

I guess I am still trying to figure out my body. Is this a flare up or progression into lupus? Dr suspects this as a possibility. I have recently tapered off of prednisone since my plaquinel has kicked in. Last dose about 3 weeks ago.

Symptoms I'm questioning:
1. Trouble breathing
2. Joint pain, mostly left side and wrist and knuckles can't grab stuff well but pain in other joints too
3. Cough trying to breathe
4. Chest pain
5. Fatigue
6. Under eye pain (where "bags" are)

For those of you who remember a post from me a while ago about a breast lump, another one popped up about 2 weeks ago maybe more I don't have a good timeline right now. Same breast but different location. Apt Wednesday for annual and to see if another ultrasound needs to be ordered for this lump.

Also Wednesday new therapist appt! I hope she is a good fit :)

Classes start back up today!!!!!!!!! I couldn't be more excited about my human nutrition course!! Hopefully my professors are great and understanding!

I'm not sure. What you're describing sounds like what I had, then went to ER and the only comment was dehydration, and no one believing I'd had a ton of water that day. I think there's a chance I have Lupus, especially with now people in my family being diagnosed.

Maybe try some Iodine? There are a couple vitamins/minerals to take at the same time, but I don't remember of the top of my head.

The having a hard time breathing and joints hurting could possibly be you coming off prednisone as well as it hurting under your eye's. How long were you on it?

I just want to feel better. May try urgent care but car won't start.

My daughter had been on prednisone for several different things one time or another especially for her asthma , I believe it maybe a withdrawal symptoms you are having, but you have the right idea if getting to a doctor and getting it checked out.

MyDogMMPain, I have very sensitive asthma. I didn't realize that my Q-var was out until Saturday night. But for three days prior to hear I started having sob spells with any exertion, along with suddenly getting red faces and warm/flushed feeling. I realized it was the empty med canister and I'd likely not had it for days. Now with my refill I'm feeling better. I'd it possible you have asthma or another lung issue? 🙏🌼

Thanks y'all. My old pup tested me for asthma, but that was about a yr ago.

My boyfriend has been very sweet. I've been in bed all day. Well class then bed.

Tomorrow I have to get my car towed and he is going to take me to school 45 min away and then to work 1 hr from there then he has class then he's pickin me up togo back home once I'm off. So sweet :)

Not feeling much better. Wish me strength for tomorrow please. I'm really excited to have gotten squeezed into this class I really need to take.
