How often do you guys have flares? Do you have days where there's practically no pain?

Jul 14, 2016 2:01 PM

I always have pain. For me a flare is when the pain becomes beyond what I can bare. I usually get wicked fatigue before a flare that's my warning.

I have My pains 24/7 365 days/year so flares for me is when My Pain goes from 6-7 to a 8-9 and as Gibber i get really Tierd before IT hits the fan and at those Times' i just want to cry bloody murder

Thanks for your comments. Strange you said about the tiredness as a day before I flared up I had extreme fatigue and I wondered if it was a warning sign

Good that you know it. There's no rhyme or reason either. They come whenever they want and stay as long or short as they want. My last one was a couple of days and the one before that was a month.

Flares for me definatly lack of sleep. And extreme jaw pain. But i am definatly in pain most days just same with everyone else just the pain becomes worse with lack of sleep

I have flares. In one now as a matter of fact. Sleep is un-attainable (sp)? I literally pace the floors and squirm in pain. I feel hopeless and need the Dr. To help me find a solution and not think of me as a junkie. I need more pain meds but am scared to ask.

I think you should definitely ask for more meds! Don't feel scared! You deserve to live a pain free life and that's what doctors are for.

I get very tired a couple of days before onset, then I crash into the pain, which gets progressively worse and then starts to subside. The cycle takes about 10 -14 days. No painkillers work. At all.
My pain those days goes from a 6-7 to an 8-10.

I'm exactly like Gibber; pain always present, with fatigue & increased pain being the flare. I've had bad fatigue today with increased pain. Wondering if it's from activity yesterday or a flare starting. It was wickedly hot & humid today which has not been helpful!

Sorry you're struggling Flappy. I hate heat it makes things so hard

Thanks Gibber! It's still going on, and with the sleep disturbances I'm certain it's a flare now. Usually my flares only last 5_7 days since starting the plaquenil last year, so hopefully it will pass soon. Hugs love & prayers for a good day for all! 🙂💕🙏🌸
