Foot drop and fainting

Jul 13, 2016 5:22 PM

What a night I'm having.
Calling to fibro sufferers.
Do you suffer with these too, do I need to see a doctor, or just chalk another symptom up.
Just a really "not right" feeling, git up to go to the loo and pulled a whitey.
(ringing ears, go white and hot, see white light, then out).
Foot drop- like I have thick tight rubber bands around both ankles, won't bend easily to walk, and if I try to bend them up sharp, shooting pain up my legs.
Anyone with me?

I'm not a Dr but the fainting could be a blood pressure issue. Are u getting up quickly? If so try rising slowly. Like 5 count lifting head get sitting wait 5-10 sec then stand slowly 5 count. If u still feel loopy u may want to call a Dr just to sure.
I have the healthy legs too however I e not gotten a reason for it as of now u just count it as fibromayalgia. Hope u feel better

Thanks x My head feels woozy when I'm laying down too. And stomach is weird... I don't feel ill, just don't feel "right".
Ankles are defo killing me though. Just feel turd. Nice to come here and moan.
Family don't support me, haven't really told them how bad it is, they have their own problems

I understand totally.if u feel dizzy laying down too it's probably vertigo. I've got meds I take when needed. I get it a few times every few months.

Across, I have to be careful riding & turning too fast die to dizziness caused by the 8th cranial nerve; causes vestibular neuronitis. And if I tried too fast I feel faint. Passed out once on the doc and they said orthostatic hypotension. I was, and occasionally still do, having foot drop but they put me through PT to help strengthen my legs & ankles. It did help a lot, but sometimes it still happens. I wear good support shoes, because flip flops nearly threw me once when it happened. I've had fibro since 2007 but I don't know if this is from the fibro. If you aren't feeling better soon you should call your doc. Hugs & prayers it passes very quickly! 🙂💕🙏🌸

Scrossy, I'm sorry about the autocorrect on your name. I just saw it this morning! 😉

Scrossy, if you're dizzy laying down and you have stomach issues from it, perhaps you should also have your ears checked. You could have vertigo. If you're laying still and turn your head do you still get dizzy? Have you had your corodid arteries checked to make sure that there's no issues with blood flow? I wish you the best and hope you get some answers soon. {{{Hugs}}}💕🙏🏻🌻😊
