CatchMyPain Community and Pain Diary App to manage chronic illness

For those of us with endo question.

I know I've probably beat this topic to death, so please bear with me. I'm new to this battle(but not to chronic pain). Okay, so I've been on suppressive therapy with Provera(since 9/18). Had a cycle first week of September but beginning this past Friday, I have been having some breakthrough bleeding(clots mostly) along with increased pain. Is this something I need to call the gyns office about this coming week or can it wait? Sorry, not trying to be tmi. Just a little bit concerned.

Amanda, when I was going through issues with my thyroid and was forced into Menopause at 34 years old, the doctor put me on a hormone to bring my cycles back. Well, I had the same thing between cycles and then the hormone stopped working. I would call the gyn just to be safe. I hope that you feel better. Sending {{{Hugs}}} and prayers your way. πŸ’•πŸ™πŸ»πŸŒ»

I agree, call the gynecology office. You don't want to mess with that. I had alot of problems with my thyroid as well as is a lot of other issues that made me get a complete hysterectomy at 25. It's best to let them know about what's going on and let them tell you if they want to do something different. I pray all is well and please keep us posted.

Thanks guys. Hoping to get an answer in the morning. 24 hour turn around time for calls.

At this point, just not feeling it at all. Pain most of the day already and it's getting old already.

Amanda, if you're up for, it is recommend a book, Dr. John Lee's Hormone Balance Made Simple. It's very interesting, and helped me find the right hormones at 15 to switch some of the period pains/clotting (I figured it was normal to go through a 6 month pad supply in a week, and for tampons to be useless, because they leak after 5 minutes😨😡😱)

And still no call back today. Will try to call them again in the morning. Ferret, I still have issues with using the lights because like you said, they leak in 5 minutes even on a "light" day

Amanda, I hope you've heard back by now from the doc. But more importantly, I hope you are feeling at least a little better! Hugs & prayers! πŸ™πŸŒΌ

Flappys, will try again in the morning. It feels like the spotting stuff has slackened off at this point, but still want them to at least be aware of what is going on now.

Oct 21, 2015 5:24 PM

Flappys, never mind on that one. It has not and it feels like I am sitting on a tack. Sent in another request for an appointment hopefully this week. No can deal.

And on phone call back this morning, he said the spotting is perfectly fine, no worries on that one already. Getting quite a bit done today in preparation(cleaning, laundry). Lab work and EKG are on the way over to the hospital and I think I'm all set.
