Frustrated

Jul 30, 2015 12:12 PM

I recently had neck surgery for a hernated docs in my neck to relieve pressure in my low back. It has helped so much. I don't have those shooting pains that went down my legs.
I started PT but now I have so much pain in my scarum where I had back surgery. I have so much pain in my hip flexors! My muscles r spamming so bad down the front & inside of my thighs. Then I have fibro on top spams & pain. So I can't figure out what pain is which!?!?

Beauty1004, It's good that your surgery took care of the sciatica pain. I'm sorry you're having pain in the muscles. Maybe they have you overdoing it in therapy. Let them know what's happening. Use ice packs to calm the spasms and reduce swelling.

I've just recently started PT for strength and balance. I've only done 3 sessions and she adds something new each time. Because I've become so weak she's really talking it easy on me. But after yesterday's session I became short with cramps in the front of my thighs and below my kneecaps.

I hope you can get some rest tonight. Take a muscle relaxer if you have any. Also, ask your doc for voltaren gel to rub into the site areas. It's a rx but you could use an OTC product instead. You're in my prayers. 🙏🌼
