Fun...or not...

This morning was stupid.
People allegedly from a foreign embassy came to our house at 10 ish this morning, banging on the door repeatedly for 10 minutes.
There was a huge black van across the street, which I saw when I was trying to figure out who it was.
It was unbelievably sketchy, and I felt like they were about to attempt kidnapping, having at least 1 car and a van in our street.
The people then went into our backyard.
They knocked a few more times.
Then, they just stayed in our front years for an hour.
What the heck?
I thought they must be missionaries at first, so why are they stalking my family?
The rest of my day was ok, I went to the country fair and people watched while my friend drew.
Anywho, things just keep getting more interesting...if they come back the cops will be called but I really hope they leave us alone.

Ferretbandit, that is scary as hell!! As soon as they went into the backyard and stayed at the front door, I would have called the police straight away. Be careful and stay aware of your surroundings. My thoughts and prayers are with you. 💕🙏🏻🌻

That crap does not happen much in Texas. Seems it is well known that we all carry a gun or two. Step in my backyard and if you get past the dog your lucky but then get past a gun, not likely. Were you able to get a license plate or verify they were who the said they were? That is just freaky. Most of the time solicitors hear our dog and do not even ring the doorbell. I cannot imagine anyone coming in my backyard. Stay safe, tell your neighbors so they can be on the look out too. Knowing your neighbors is a big step in keeping safe. I still cannot believe that someone just walked in your backyard, that is beyond stupid.

The thing is, these people think they have a right to scare us, and most neighbors were gone.
They came for my friend, although technically everything is already settled.
It's a case of extreme shame for certain people in Japan, and they're obviously desperate.
Honestly, if they come back I'm suddenly up for a fight for the strange sense of honor.
My friend could write a book, so much has happened in her life.
Hmmm...we'll be taking to the police soon, but we have to get past the business of right now.
I wish or neighbor was still here, she's awesome in scary situations.
