So I've been having stomach issues for 3 weeks now and the doc thinks it's gastritis. She told me to take Zantac for a couple weeks. Does anyone have any tips? I've basically been living on Gatorade and smoothies. I didn't know it was possible to have even less energy than I usually do.

I take Zegerid OTC for the acid issues and to protect my stomach from meds.. I drink about 2-3 liters of water a day and I avoid spicy and greasy food as it makes me sick. I also deal with a lot of nausea so I tend to eat bland (grilled chicken and veg) I do eat Greek yogurt.

I have been on various different GERD meds for 20 years. After having my hiatal hernia repair & fundoplication to my stomach (to protect barretts esophagus worsening), I really need anything. I don't drink carbonated drinks and rarely eat spicy foods. I take esomeprazole as needed.
