Hi bethanylayne, welcome! I don't personally have gastroparesis, although I know other people here do. I do have other digestive issues, though, and the best thing to do is to eat as easy to digest food as possible. This means soups and smoothies and generally really soft food. I personally stay away from things like gluten, soy, and dairy, because they can be hard on my system, but it's all about finding what works best for you! Good luck!

That's kinda how it is as Bexipode said. I have gastroparesis, but not very long. I have found that cooked tomatoes bother me. ie: spaghetti I eat gluten free for fibromyalgia

Since my upper endoscopy I have been on protonix and carefate. It really helps

Thank you guys!! I've been looking into the whole gp diet, it just doesn't sound fun 😖 I've also heard that all of the medicines come with really bad side effects. Is that true??

I'm on protonix for GERD. No side affects. I haven't been put on med for gastroparesis.
