Going to be an interesting night

Dec 22, 2015 4:40 PM

Hi guys,
Well the worst for today is over thankfully or maybe not. Lidocaine wore off at 3(or just about) and of course there is pain tonight. Doesn't really help matters that I'm not supposed to be doing much over the next 2 days(no showers, no lifting, etc). For the ladies on here, how do you guys cope with no shower post-op while you are on your cycle? Of course, mine just kicked into full gear tonight. Thoughts/ideas?

Really good wash ups. If u have adjustable shower head where u can just wet the areas u need. That may help if not try bady wipes

New, baby wipes might be the only option. No adjustable shower head but thankfully it's only til Christmas Eve morning. Hoping that some IV antibiotics can be started tomorrow morning cause they are definetly needed. And also got a refillable script for 2 dose Diflucan, cause of the antibiotic issue.

I know you are able to get a shower now, but after I had my kids I would bleed really bad, so I got a douche bottle and emptied out the bottle and put water in it and every time I used the bathroom I would use it to clean up real good and I didn't have to worry about getting blood on my hands after wiping. I still do it to this day, only because I'm a heavy bleeder.

Mopar, Thanks for that tip. I'm also a heavy bleeder. Always have been.
