CatchMyPain Community and Pain Diary App to manage chronic illness

Good feeling being part of a community, thank you!!!

I have just began to participate in writing stuff although I have been reading/following this for a month or so. I have been pretty 'quiet' about my somewhat newly acquired state of chronic illness ( off work for three yrs and the beginning of chronic pain plus for 5 yrs).
Feels great to find other people going thru the similar problems/situations, not that I'm happy others suffer but it's a huge relief knowing I'm not alone. Thank you all !!

I feel the same way that you do. I felt quite alone myself. So this is like intern to only place I can turn to you to talk about my problems. So it helps me A lot. I hope it helps you a lot too. I haven't been here long but I'm thankful for it. I don't feel quite so lonely. I hope that you feel the best that you can feel today. Best wishes.

I'm with ya'll ... I sometimes feel like I have all these random obscure health issues and it really makes feel like my sanity is slipping at times.

Thank you so much! Today was actually a 'good' day for me. I was able to get a couple of things done in the house and didn't need to use extra pain meds. I am feeling grateful for today.

Hi guys, I'm new to this too.
Nice but unfortunate to know others suffer with pain too.
Have any of you guys experienced back pain? I'm suffering with chronic pain after scoliosis surgery 2 & a half years ago.

I have severe back pain Harris. Unfortunately for me nothing seems to work and my doctors aren't helping me . I get 9/10 pain daily and acute episodes (10/10 pain and muscle spasms )

Welcome Harris! I have chronic back issues from DDD, ruptured & bulging discs, a tear at T11-12, osteoarthritis. They fused cervical discs in the 90s but above & below are collapsing now. I've developed osteopenia so bad I can't get a bone graft or posts to my jaw; they say it won't take.

Besides surgery I've done epidural steroid injections (ESI), ointments and TENS unit. I can't use pain meds except Tramadol due to severe med & food allergies. I have had the most relief over the past year, following a 2 year ESI treatment process down my spine. I don't know your problems but I wish you the best finding what works for you. This community is a great place to vent, cry on shoulders, be funny, or just chat about common problems and various treatments.
