Good news update!

Tomorrow I finally get to see a rheumatologist! I have been waiting for this appt for months. I have been diagnosed with fm by my primary but can't get anything to help with it until I see this rheumatologist. Any suggestions on things I should ask for or try? I deal with pain all over and this horrible bugs crawling all over me feeling. I seem to have my depression under control with the celexa that I take. I'm just wondering what has worked for everyone? Thank you in advance and I hope you all have a beautiful day! Soft hugs xx

I would suggest making sure this particular Dr treats fibro patient. I don't know why but some rheumatologist dont treat us. Also go in with your notes of symptoms pain diary and any concerns u may have.

Your welcome. And I'm hopeful for you. It's bad enough to live with pain a d discomfort but to have to go through it with no medical assistance or understanding is awful.

The bugs sensations should respond well to gabapentin or lyrica; paresthesias. I have it too it it's mostly my hands & feet. If I start itching it's my anxiety, & I use Tranxene for it. Gabapentin is my fibro pain med, but I also use Tylenol Arthritis, Aleve & Tramadol if needed. Hugs, live, & prayers it goes very well for you! 🙂💕🙏🌼
