Well, that was a productive appointment this morning I think. New MRI was done as well as another optic nerve photo. Then I had a break for about 1 1/2 hours and then got called back. The first thing my neurologist says to me when he walks into the room, "Well, your pressure is high." I've been telling them that for at least 2 weeks but have they listened to me? No!!!! All I could do is silently chuckle at him under my breath at that point.
He thinks the reason that is happening is that there are 2 small areas of transverse sinus stenosis in the back of my head. Got bumped up on the Diamox again(yuck), see if that works and come back in 1 month to repeat the OCT and follow up. It depends on what step we take on the next visit. He wasn't too concerned about those areas of stenosis enough to send me to a neurosurgeon at this point, which I'm grateful for.
Will touch base with everyone tomorrow, after I get home from the hospital. It's time for that stubborn cyst to get aspirated out already(EEK!!!!)
