Dec 22, 2015 1:23 PM

See, I knew of anyone, you'd be able to do it Ferretbandit. You are really a great person. I think that you could probably go into some sort of counseling business and I know people would come to you in droves!! You are compassionate, willing to jump in when needed and you always leave people with hope. (You even took a shift in Jenna's prayer circle!!) I know that not your thing but from my heart, I wanted to say Thank You. You, my dear, are a treasured member of this pain family. {{{{Hugs}}}}πŸ’•πŸ™πŸ»πŸŒ»

Dec 22, 2015 1:27 PM

Always, thanks. I've thought about therapy as a job, but honestly I'm not sure I could take seeing people in pain lung term, and with the amount of education required, I'm just not sure I'd make it.

You've inspired me too, always reaching out to help others. I really admire that

Dec 22, 2015 1:46 PM

Yea Ferret! Done good girl. Please don't think I run around HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY all the time... (/<~~~ no running here, I slowly waddle). I have to push myself through, and yes it is hard! Some days I can push thru and utilize all my coping measures and some days I say "The Hell with it" and stay in bed. I am as cray-cray as you can get... ( smiling) but I do believe in the absolute power of a group of people with shared issues loving and pulling each other through the darker days. Love and Blessings, Terri

Dec 23, 2015 4:09 PM

Terri, I don't think there is anything that I like at this moment about my body. To be honest, I don't even like wearing a bathing suit because of the amount of scars that I have all over from repeat surgeries. Mom used to tell me they were battle scars or a badge of honor but when you've gone through so much crap that you can tell people what scars are from what surgery, then it's too much.
