I have been diagnosed with fibro and one thing I can tell you is while we all have similar pain points and issues...the truth is fibro effects everyone differently...if you feel like you need to go to ER please do...the chest issue has me concerned...I tried best to read your post...some of it is confusing and I think that's because of autocorrect on your phone maybe? I personally think Lyrica is poison and awful and I also don't like Tramadol...but that's me...for me I usually take Savella for fibro (I'm on a break off it right now) I take opana er for pain and I take a really good multi vitamin...EmergenC...and I take curamin which helps alot for pain...I also take an oral probiotic to get my gut healthy....I would suggest those for natural stuff to take...try to take it easy on yourself and limit your activity...drink some tea and do something that helps redirect your thoughts (I pray) I hope this helped sweetie Amber
Hello NewFibrogirl2, I am so sorry you are feeling this way. We all need support through our pain. Fibro is especially confusing because it can manifest in so many different ways.
I agree with Pulelehua888 that lyrica is poisonous and can be habit forming. Diet changes, heat soaks, but! B supplements have really helped me. Most helpful for my fibro has been the Guaifenesin protocol.
Yes I've looked it up but havent spoken to my Dr about it yet. Right now I don't know what to say I'm on as fsr as system prediction. It seems I'm so far behind most of you all. I'm in an especially hard place since nsaids and other anti-inflammatory meds I csnt take due a previous procedure I had years ago. And with me not working or having my own income source I'm at tge mercy of my family. So we all know how that is.
I definitely do know what it is like to be dependent on family and to be incapacitated by fibro. I recognize the symptoms you describe, including the chest heaviness and low-grade fever.
If you live in California or can get there somehow, it might be worth a visit to Dr StAmand in Los Angeles or to Dr Congdon in the Bay Area. Dr StAmand developed the protocol and has been treating fibro successfully for 50years. http://www.fibromyalgiatreatment.com
I know it can be expensive and tedious. I had to find a way to visit all the way from East Africa, but it was worth it. Even of you can't make it there, the facebook support group from my post above is great for information and for coping strategies specific to fibro.
